Founder, Race Director
As a resident of Westerville, Brian has been involved in Central Ohio running events for over 15 years. Locally he is best known as the Operations Director for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon.

He has also worked on some of the biggest events in the industry including the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, ESPN Global X-Games, Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle, Hospital Hill Run, Fort2Base Race, Rite-Aid Cleveland Marathon, Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon, Chevron Houston Marathon, Capital City Half Marathon, ZOOMA Women’s Race Series and more.

Brian is an avid runner and multisport athlete and enjoys seeing other events from the participant perspective.

Challenge New AlbanySandy Donald
Sandy has been involved in the race (running/triathlon) management business for 10 years. After a successful career in sales, marketing and business development, for 2 multi-billion dollar corporations, Sandy decided to pursue a career more in line with his personal passions.

A lifelong athlete, he first became involved through participation and soon realized there’s a business behind the scenes. The Charity Day 5K combines 2 of his personal passions, living a healthy lifestyle and giving back to the community.

Sandy has worked with some of the major players in this industry including: Life Time Fitness, Rev 3 Triathlon, the Challenge Family, as well as many large events: Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon, Rite-Aid Cleveland Marathon, The Pittsburgh Marathon, Rev 3 Cedar Point, Challenge New Albany, The Capital City Half Marathon, The Ohio State 4 Miler, The Ross Tri Fit Challenge and The Zooma Women’s Race Series.

Ryan Ritchie
Course Manager, Operation Team Lead, Official Event Photographer, Branding Manager, Squad Leader, and Nursing Student. Ryan has had the opportunity to wear many hats. He is an active member of the Ohio Army National Guard and has been in involved in numerous multi sport events since 2003. He incorporates efficiency and autonomy from his career in the Armed Forces in everything he does and has a tremendous passion for the outdoors and fitness.

Ryan has had the pleasure of working alongside some of the best Operations Crews and Race Directors in the industry for events including Nationwide Children’s Columbus Marathon, Rite-Aid Cleveland Marathon, The Capital City Half Marathon, Hospital Hill Run, and The Ross Tri Fit Challenge.
